Just a reminder, your main responsibility are the fans.
We are in school grounds, so what you don’t allow in classrooms, please don’t allow in bleachers.
Anything offensive towards coaches, players, refs, or fans I kindly ask that you handle the situation; I do not want to stop the game, but if I have to, I will need to make a UIL report.
Please have security escort us at the end of the game.
Finally, where would you be located in case of an incident?
Coaches:
First of all, are your teams legally and properly equipped? By confirming this, just remember if we find any illegal equipment on a player, the first yellow card will go to you.
Make sure player(s) is/are on deck for substitutions.
Last 5 minutes of 2nd half, if the winning team requests a sub, I will automatically stop the game.
Any player I need to know with medical issues?
Team Captains:
Simple, don’t stop if you don’t hear a whistle.
If they are fouling you, but if you have the ball keep playing. If they take the ball away, I will call a foul and return the play where the foul occur.
You are the captains, so make sure to help your coach by making sure your teammates are legally and properly equipped.
Visiting team calls heads or tails.
Ball Boys/Girls:
Your job is to only give the ball to players: under hand toss.
Do not cheer, do not give instructions to teams, and do not waste time.
Scorekeeper:
Stop the clock on the following: Goal is score, PK is awarded, Yellow or Red Card is given, or any time the Center Ref requests it (injuries, fight, or any other incident). Make sure to start time once the ball is put in play, not at the whistle.
Do not cheer and do not give instructions to teams.
